Meridian Summer Sweepstakes — Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.
1. Sponsor
This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Meridian Digital Labs, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), 2000 Apartments Room 1110, 150 Saint Thomas More Road, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on July 11, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on August 11, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device.
4. How to Enter (Earn Tickets)
Each entry is represented by a “ticket.” The more tickets you have, the more chances you have to win. There are two ways to earn tickets:
A. In-app activity
- Journaling: Create at least one journal entry in the Meridian app on a given calendar day during the Sweepstakes Period to earn one (1) ticket for that day. You may earn at most one (1) ticket per day from journaling, regardless of how many entries you write that day.
- Referrals: If another person joins Meridian using your invite code and completes their first journal entry during the Sweepstakes Period, you will earn three (3) tickets.
B. Free Alternative Method of Entry (mail-in)
To enter without using the app, hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, email address, and date of birth on a plain 3" x 5" card and mail it in a #10 envelope with sufficient postage to:
2000 Apartments Room 1110
150 Saint Thomas More Road
Chestnut Hill, MA 02467
Each properly completed mailed card equals one (1) ticket and carries the same weight and odds as a ticket earned in the app. Limit one (1) card per envelope; each mailed entry must be separately mailed. Mail-in entries must be postmarked during the Sweepstakes Period and received no later than seven (7) days after it ends. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or postage-due mail. Mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible.
5. Winner Selection and Odds
On or about August 18, 2026, the Sponsor will select sixteen (16) potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible tickets received across both entry methods. The first ticket drawn will be awarded the first-place prize; the next fifteen (15) tickets drawn will each be awarded a runner-up prize. A given individual may win at most one (1) prize.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible tickets received. Holding more tickets increases the number of chances you have in the drawing.
6. Prizes
- First place (1 winner): USD $100.00 (cash or cash-equivalent, at Sponsor’s discretion).
- Runners-up (15 winners): An equal share of USD $400.00, i.e., approximately USD $26.67 each (cash or cash-equivalent).
Total approximate retail value (ARV) of all prizes: USD $500.00. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All prize-related expenses not specified are the responsibility of the winner.
7. Winner Notification
Potential winners will be notified using the email or contact information associated with their entry within approximately seven (7) days of the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the first notification attempt, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/ publicity release, and a tax form (e.g., IRS Form W-9) where applicable.
8. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
9. Publicity
Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of their name, city, and state for promotional purposes without further compensation.
10. General Conditions and Limitation of Liability
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes.
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize.
11. Apple, Inc.
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple, Inc. Entrants release Apple from any liability related to the Sweepstakes.
12. Privacy
